Google has revealed that its series of UFO-related doodles were a tribute to the creative imagination of Victorian author HG Wells.

The technology firm said that it wanted to honour the novelist's 143rd birthday because he had "encouraged fantastical thinking about what is possible, on this planet and beyond". More Here!
